This Privacy Policy describes how your personally identifiable information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from carlbergs-gifts-shop.myshopify.com (the “Site”).

We refer to this information as “Order Information.”  When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

We may collect information that is not identifiable to you or otherwise associated with you, or does not constitute Personal Information under the applicable law. To the extent this information is stored or associated with Personal Information, it will be treated as Personal Information; otherwise, the information is not subject to this policy.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personal Information except to our website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our Site, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep your Personal Information confidential. These service providers are not permitted to use the Personal Information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your Personal Information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.  However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.  For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your Personal Information will be handled by these providers.  In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. When linking to another website you should read the privacy policy stated on that website. This Privacy Policy only governs information collected on the Site.

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
